UCSD Presents Radiology Review Course - A CME Teaching Activity

The 41st Annual Radiology Review Course will cover a wide range of topics common to most current diagnostic radiology practices. It is organized in focus sessions, by organ system, in all subspecialty areas of Diagnostic Radiology. Some sessions will include discussion on related image guided interventions and medical imaging physics.

The course is designed as a comprehensive review of the field of Diagnostic Radiology with supplemental medical physics for both practicing radiologists as well as radiologists-in-training preparing for the Core Exam of the American Board of Radiology.

Physicians: Educational Symposia is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Educational Symposia designates this enduring material for a maximum of 54.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)^TM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

All activity participants are required to complete the credit application in order to be awarded credit. Course participants will also have the opportunity to critically evaluate the program as it relates to practice relevance and educational objectives.

AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)^TM for these programs may be claimed until December 31, 2024.

At the completion of this CME teaching activity, you should be able to:

• Discuss the differential diagnosis of the imaging appearance of common disease processes with appropriate imaging and clinical follow-up recommendations.
• Describe the role of new imaging techniques in diagnostic radiology.
• Discuss basic vascular and non-vascular interventional procedures.
• Explain medical radiation safety, the physics of and mechanisms to obtain medical images, and common imaging artifacts, and select non-interpretive skills.
